1. Constructive criticism is crucial in order for an aspiring poet to grow...be respectful with your comments, and when appropriate lavish the praise. Please and thank you.

2. This is a poetry site, not a meat market, sexual harassment of PlanetPoet members will not be tolerated.

3. STANDARD members are allowed unlimited reading and commenting privileges, as well as, limited poetry posting privileges. STANDARD members are allowed 1 poem posting per week. These postings may be used for their poetry blog or for submission to a Membership Contest. STANDARD members may purchase a point package to enter CASH4POEMS Contest. STANDARD members may upgrade at any time, through the 'purchase points' page.

4. PREMIUM members are allowed all access to the site. PREMIUM members are allowed to host contests of their own, for a fee of 500 points. Points collected as an entry fee for the contests belong to the PREMIUM member.

5. MEMBERSHIP Contest (a contest hosted by a PREMIUM Member) cost 10 points to enter.

6. SITE Contest (a contest by the administrators of PlanetPoet.com, also known as CASH4POEMS) offers cash prizes for contests. There is a fee of 500 points to enter. STANDARD and PREMIUM members may enter.

7. Once a contest entry has been submitted, it cannot be edited.

8. The member hosting a contest is responsible for selecting a winner. There is a minimum 300 points awarded to the 1st Place Winner in all Membership Contests. However, a contest host may offer as many points as he or she would like.

9. The PlanetPoet.com Staff and/or administrators will judge all CASH4POEMS contests.

10. Cash prizes will be awarded from PlanetPoet.com through PayPal.
